Semester 2
Per the District:
Dear Parent/Guardian,
Congratulations!  As your 8th grade student is preparing for the end of the year, we wanted to inform you about the process that the Sweetwater Union High School District will be using to determine your student’s participation in promotion ceremonies.
Due to Limited opportunities for credit recovery, the Sweetwater District will apply the second semester of 8th grade as validation for promotion.  This mean students must pass ALL of the second semester courses to participate in the promotion.  Students who meet these requirements will receive a Certificate of Promotion.

Respectfully,
Maria Esther Lizarraga
Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction
